High Intensity Workouts is a form of training also known as ‘HIT’. The technique is applied to any form of aerobic exercise from rowing to stepping of even power walking around the park. If for example your doing a 30 minute work out session the aim is to up the intensity every four minutes which makes you train extra hard for the period of 30 seconds to 1 minute. After the minute is up you go back to your usual workout level again. The theory is that by repeating this throughout your workout you will not only burn more calories but increase your fitness levels.
