The anti ageing properties of a cream are dependent on the ingredients used and the concentration strength of those essential ingredients influence their effect. Vitamin A is the key anti ageing ingredient and the most important molecule for the protection of the skin. it slows down ageing but may even reverse some signs. Other key ingredients include retinol palmitate, retinyl acetate or retinoic acid. Along with this there also needs to be an adequate dose of vitamin being used. If the product tens to be dry or cause a little reddening of the skin this is an indication of adequate levels of vitamin A as initially it will cause some skin irritation.
