Maintaining your Health Weight

Too much booze can make it harder to keep to a healthy weight.  For men they should aim for no more than 3 units of alcohol a day whilst women should aim for no more than 2 units.  As a rule of thumb 1 unit = half pint of standard beer, 1 pub measure of spirit or 1 standard glass of wine.  Alcohol is high in calories so the further you cut down the better it is to lose weight.
